Requirements

To be eligible for the ExxonMobil Internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (minimum 2nd class upper) in Pharmacy.
  • Completed NYSC within the last 2 years.
  • Registered Member of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and counseling abilities
  • Dedication to high standards and timely delivery
  • Proficiency in computer software and email applications
  • Strong presentation skills

Roles and Responsibilities of ExxonMobil Intern

  • Pre-packing of medications
  • Organizing drugs from the store onto the correct dispensary shelves
  • Assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications and counseling patients on their use
  • Supporting pharmacists with administrative tasks, such as compiling requisitions, entering received drugs into the system, and record-keeping
  • Conducting stock-taking for dispensing
  • Recording received drugs onto bin cards
    • Unpacking and shelving newly received medications in their designated store locations
    • Packaging and sending drugs to different locations
    • Assisting with quarterly stock-taking in the store
    • Logging invoices into appropriate registers
    • Preparing cargo manifests for shipments
    • Filing documents
    • Performing any other duties assigned by the head of pharmacy
