West African Examination Council (WAEC) formally released the WAEC result for the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on Monday, August 7, 2023.

How to purchase your e-PIN Voucher Number online
The WAEC result checker PIN is a unique code that provides access to WAEC website, allowing users to view their examination results online and cost from N1,500.
There are many ways to purchase the WAEC result checker PIN via various e-commerce sites like Jumia, Konga, Opay, Quickteller, and more.
Simply provide your name, email address and phone number when making a purchase online. When you have made payment for the PIN, it will be sent directly to your email address or mobile device as an SMS message.
The Steps:
- Choose your preferred website and create an account. (such as Jumia, Konga, Opay, Quickteller, and more)
- Search for WAEC e-Pin and select the “buy” or “pay now” option to begin the checkout process. On some websites, customers will need to enter their payment information (such as debit/credit card details or bank transfer details) before completing their purchase.
- Click “confirm payment” to complete purchase.
- When payment is complete, you will receive an email or SMS message with a unique code that serves as access to the WAEC results database. This code is only valid once and must be used before its expiration date so it is important to save it securely in a safe place until needed.
- You can now proceed to check results and save/print.
How to Check WAEC Results Online
- Login to the WAEC Result Checker website.
- Enter your 10-digit Examination Number (This is your 7-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789).
- Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year (e.g 2022)
- Select the Type of Examination
- Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
- Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
- Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
How to Check WAEC Result with SMS
- Using your mobile phone, open to create a new message and type WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear Example (WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2023)
- Send to 32327
- Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost ₦30 only)
Note: You will need to have purchased the WAECDirect Scratch card or the e-PIN Voucher Number in order to check your result via text message. The scratch card pin is what is needed in the PIN section of the SMS you will send to 32327. SMS charges will be applied when checking your WASSCE results using text messages.
With a total of 1,613,733 candidates sitting for the 2023 WAEC examination, about 79.81 per cent of the total candidates obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects including English Language and Mathematics, while the results of 262,803 candidates are being withheld “due to reports of cases of examination malpractice.”
The digital certificates of candidates who sat for the 2023 WAEC examinations and have no pending issues, by way of unresolved queries or hanging cases of examination malpractice, are available on the digital certificate platform, while the printing of the physical (hard copy) certificates will begin 3 Months from result release date, according to the examination body.
